We are looking for the following items!

Handcrafted Items:
Do you or someone in the family make any hand crafted items suitable for a silent auction. This would include Jewelery, Pottery, Knitted/Crocheted items, Woodwork, painting/drawing, etc...

Service/Gift Certificates or Tickets: Service/Gift Certificates from your business or a business you frequent, such as lessons, maintenance, landscaping, restaurant coupons ...... or do you have any tickets to seasoned events that you would be willing to donate.

Theme Baskets: We are also putting together Theme Baskets. If this is where you'd like to help we ask only that you donate one or two items for a basket. We'll put together the baskets, we just need the items to go into them. We have put together the following suggestions to help, but if you 'd like to branch out and donate something different, or put together your own basket, that's ok too.

Movie Night Basket - Saxophones
Nature/Healthy Basket - Clarinets
Sports Enthusiast Basket - Percussion
Mothers Spa Basket - Flutes
Fathers Basket - Mellaphones/ Trumpets
Rainy Day Basket - Guard
Gardening Basket - Low Brass
Chocolate/Candy Basket - Violins/Violas
Art Basket - Cello's/Bass
WE ALSO NEED ANY BASKETS YOU MAY HAVE AND NOT NEED.

Re-Gifting (hidden treasures) - These must be new....but if you've stored that Marble Chess Set (and you don't play) or that unused fancy coffee grinder in the basement, why not donate them to the Silent Auction.

We are collecting items now, if you have something to donate you can bring your items any Tuesday afternoon after 3pm to the school and drop off at Mrs Ahmed's office or you can call any of the Silent Auction committee members. Thanks so much for your help!

CSU Honor Band

We are pleased to announce that the Colorado State University Honor Band will be held February 18-20, 2010, with Gary Hill from Arizona State University conducting. The audition materials and procedures, as well as application, are now available on our website at http://www.csubands.com. Students will have the option to play either the solo we have selected (see the audition materials document) OR the 2010 All-State material. Please download the audition information and begin working on this material now!
